FN Tactical Barrel With a 4.5" threaded barrel, the FN 509 Tactical 9mm is a standout in the FN 509 family, designed for precision and adaptability. This pistol is built on the foundation of FN's submission for the U.S. Army Modular Handgun Trials, enhanced with modern tactical features. Its patent-pending Low-Profile Optics Mounting System accommodates over ten miniature red dot (MRD) optics, ensuring co-witness with suppressor-height night sights and future-proof adaptability without slide milling.
The slide cap, featuring raised sight wings, protects iron sight alignment and provides a textured ramp for easy slide racking. The cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel includes 1/2" x 28 threads, compatible with most 9mm suppressors, and a thread cap with an integrated O-ring to prevent loosening.
